Community hub activity space is essential. But this space can be made far more appealing, flexible and hirable by opening up a roof terrace on the adjacent new roof of the proposed ground floor extension. This is an essential enhancement which could be addedly cheaply at this stage, and would help make the activity hub a desirable community destination, especially if combined with a cafe.

There is already too much hard standing areas, better to keep a 'garden' area to soften the building at the back as well as the good design for the front.

Youth activities such as table tennis, pool, desk based games with a programme of low cost youth entertainment. Strict rules about conduct and to discourage drug abuse.

Need to enhance the thermal efficiency of the building as a whole to passive house standards if possible so it will be an asset not a drain on the finite resources available. Spend the money now, not in the future maintenance and upkeep. DO not be short sighted.
