I am pleased that this is being given priority in terms of rebuilding as it is urgently needed, However, the plan to have an Urgent Treatment Centre to be used on an appointment only basis does not equate to the facility of the Walk-in Centre that it replaces. I do not feel this is satisfactory as it is already difficult to get through to the Health Centre and the Walk-In Centre was preferable as one could just turn up and wait to be seen. The proposed facility therefore does not equate to what we previously had and the facilities should be provided on a Walk-in basis as before. Otherwise, the plans appear to be what is required for Weybridge in terms of the facilities and parking. The provision of ultrasound diagnostics and advance blood testing will be particularly welcome.

The number of parking spaces is really important and hopefully has been determined based on modelling of increased facilities.

In sufficient information on what will be provided by NHS and / or GP practices. Are the residential units to be new build, or are they current?

A lot of pictures and jargon that arguably doesn't give a concise picture of what the new building will look like. Possibly 15 different window designs?

The urgent care and MRI facilities come as a surprise, having not been flagged earlier in this presentation. What about xray and physiotherapy?

Okay, but there is a missed opportunity here to indicate what is meant by "extended hours and other services"? In order to approve plans, more detail is required. Can the public expect Saturday opening, at least one late evening per week, until 9pm, from the GP surgeries? This is a dormitory town with both two working adult and ageing households.

From my personal viewpoint, this is a bland design with no obvious links to its community, vernacular architecture, or future purpose. Another office block! Adding a portico and planting near the entrances could help.

The brickwork in the design seems to be quite one dimensional. And I would be concerned that as the project develops and costs increase, the aesthetics would be the first thing cut back on.
